The programme will be offered through blended learning that combines classroom-based teaching sessions with online learning. The first year will be delivered through contact lectures on campus with year two being hybrid mode (combining contact with online learning) and year three online with contact workshops.
During the first and second years, students will attend contact sessions at the Midrand campus. These sessions will feature expert-led lectures, tutorials (both individual and group), collaborative activities, hands-on laboratory work, and personalised support from Learning Support Officers.
The online component of the programme includes live, interactive sessions conducted virtually. These sessions are recorded and made available on our learner management system for easy access at any time. In addition, students can utilise a wide range of learning materials through to online resources.
ECST’s online delivery approach combines live tutorials, access to an international network of expert lecturers, dedicated Learning Support Officers, and cutting-edge technologies such as remote and virtual laboratories and simulation software.
Please note: All students must have computers and reliable access to the internet to participate in this programme.
